Jack puzzle's me..on the one hand i can't stand the guy [for so many different reasons] but on the other hand i quite like it when he gets all rebellious in his 'Others confronting' mood.

But i cant work out whether he's brave or foolish for doing this?

yeah when hes a do gooder hes a complete...can we swear? LOL!!!!

Hes so like Janeway on Voyager or Sam Beckett on Quantum Leap. Theres no prime directive Jack just have the balls to beat the crap out of them

I didn't vote because I don't know what to put...

In one sense, I thought he was a bit foolish, especcially as he seemed just to be determined to prove he was better than Locke/Sawyer, show off that he had a gun and had the power to go off with Kate on a big mission.

On the other hand, I quite admired the way that he went out there and just shouted for them to come... Kate was backing off a bit wasn't she, but he was happy to go out there and put himself out there like that. I also admired the way that he just went [albeit inviting Kate] as opposed to playing leader and gathering up a little band of men, making his game plan etc...

But he was being a little bit ruthless...

Hmmm... Jack baffles me!!!

I loved the way the camera spun around him..and the ook on Jack's face when he getrs into tha rebellious mood is good to see.

PS..oh yeah, i didnt even think of that lwl! :P

I thought it was brave of him, he made the right decision for once. There's no point in the Losties sitting around with Henry in the hatch when all he is doing is provoking them and playing them off against each other.

i put brave, but what i mean is that he won't just sit around and wait for things to happen. He likes to be at the forefront, and doesn't wait for others to do things. He takes the initiative.

He can act rashly at times. But to be fair sometimes decisions need to be made quickly. I think in the end of season 2 when he tried to drag Kate to safety is an excellent example of who he is. Yeah, he's brave - no doubt.

i dont think its fair to call him either of these characteristics, he clearly has both in equal amounts, along with a dose of pride and arrogance, in addition to his ability to love and base human kindness
