Ok heres the scene again from the script:

Charlie You're out of your mind. It's not safe. It's gonna be dark soon. Who knows whose out in this jungle. In case you have forgotten there are people on this island trying to kill us.
Desmond Nobody knows we're here.
[All of the sudden, Hurley who has been rummaging through Naomis bag, fires a flare which startles the group]
Hurley Oops.

Sorry but did anyone else find this scene absolutly hilrious? I was

even after the second time of wacthing it!!!!! Ok it was kinda stupid of Hurley but again being excused with it being so damn funny!!!! Thats why I like Hurley has a character man

Also the scene where he let slip that they had a walkie on them was funny with that clare that Charlie gave him, a bit

but still funny

any thoughts?

Where do we get the name 'Naomi'? Biblically speaking, isn't Naomi the sister of Ruth - as in Desmond's jilted fiancee?

I've seen it too on Wikipedia and the like... don't think it's really a spoiler if it can be found in a regular cast list.

Incidentally, does anyone else think that Mikhail might have been looking for the Others who seem to have 'vanished', and so responded to the flair?

but yeah it is a good spot - maybe another person out to get Desmond, or to help manipulate him

and Him I agree it is a possablity, but also reckon he was waiting for one of his team to arrive so to speak

but what about the hilarity of that scene???

Yes! The way Charlie was just shaking his head slowly at Hurley was hilarious.

I think the comedy in Lost can be excellent sometimes

I loved The Hurlster in this episode - ive ripped him in the past but he's back on top top form and credit to him. I found the scene you speak of very funny..i also enjoyed his last line of the episode - cant remeber what it was but it was classico Hurley!

Forgot this one! Yeah, I could tell he was about to say something that would be typically Hurley. I thought it was going to be 'dude', but 'what' was just as good. It was just the way he said it

hey glad somone thought so!! ok Rocco your agreeing with me again wadda you want? :P Just kidding, yeah I agree with you there though. I think it was whoa or somthing like that. Also liked the scene where he lets slip where they got a walkie and charlie glares at him

and when aksed further by Mickhail he goes, erm like we woud tell you with Charlie still glaring at him
