Has LOST ever made you ANGRY?

We've had the "Has LOST ever made you cry" thread. Now i'd like to pose the question:

"Has LOST ever made you ROOOAAR with ANGER?"

Well...has it? Be honest now, we all know this is more than a fictional TV show (), it's the fly in the ointment, the fire in your belly the splinter under your skin, the reflection of so-sigh-ity.

So, when has LOST made you want to throw an iron through the TV screen? Or perhaps it has never stirred any negative emotions in you?

Erm no I don't think so actually. I've gone 'phhh' and sighed alot (mostly when Jack's on screen) but I don't think I've been angry. (Although maybe I will in my rewatch)

Yes, all the time, lol. Surprisingly, I've yelled some abuse at Sawyer over the years. Some of things he's done uspet me so, especially the stupid, reckless and life-threatening things. Although, I can remember being really angry with him when he left Cassidy .

But I suppose it can't be helped with a character you realy like. I think it's like, you want the best for them, so when something doesn't go to plan, you get angry. I'm in a thinking mood tonight, sorry, lol.

Kate, I get angry with her whenever she uses Sawyer, lol. And I remember hating Sayid with a passion after Confidence Man. Same goes for Locke after Boone died, and then again, after the whole "Cooper Incident" - but the less of that the better. Ben, I've been angy with him a few times, although out of those, I think Kate comes off worse. But that's just because I don't like her

Perhaps the incidents between Claire and Charlie and her treatment of him. While Sun has often annoyed me. I am certain that some scenes have made me angry but it would take a long think to remember such scenes. I would not say ANY scenes have had me in a fit of rage but many scenes over the Seasons have made me slightly angry but not enough to inflict damage to my TV.

Lol, excellent point actually. I've never been angry enough to move from the sofa or such like, lol...although now that Roco brought it up and you've highlighted it, I wonder if anyone has damaged their television, lol.

Apart from whenever Jack treats Locke like dirt (I seriously seriously wanted to punch him when I re-watched S4x01 and he pulls the trigger twice on him), the way Nikki and Paulo were introduced made me slightly angry because it was done in such an abrupt and jarring way that made no sense at all.

I seem to recall Kiowa.W throwing cushions at the TV when Jack appeared, though I think she meant she felt might eventually do so and has not as of yet. But cushions are TV friendly.

That's really interesting. I can certainly see why you (or anyone else) would be angry when their characters make the wrong choices etc. I would think that I would be the same, but thinking about it, I can't recall ever being 'angry' with Ben or Locke The only time I think I shook my head in dismay at either character was when Ben said his petulant "SO!?" in the S4 finale, but it wasn't because he said it, rather the fact that they(TPT made him say it, as it seemed so out of character and just an excuse to keep him morally grey. But after thinking about it I found that I totally understood his response, even though I would have preferred them not to have written it in the way that they did.

Anyhoo

I think I get more angry (perhaps not angry, just riled or cynical..yeah, cynical, that's the word) when Kate and Jack are doing their whole relationship crud. Lost has made me appreciate the use of relationships in tv shows, but the K+S thing is just wearing thin on me - although I did get the shivver me timbers when he told her that he loved her in the S3 finale.

Back to the anger, I also get cynical with Dharma..those guys rub me up the wrong way.

OH, and SAYID..GAHHH! Brilliantly acted but what a moron he is! *throws iron through tv screen..Opps*

Lol no I haven't actually yet thrown anything at my tv when Jack appears (I can't bring myself to waste such an effort because of that man), but it is tempting at times.

Oh actually when Jack and Kate were having that fight and then Kate kissed Jack I felt the anger boiling up so I had to change the channel sharpish

Oh gosh Reed, you're untapping all of my concealed cynism! I completely forgot about Claire and Sun! I actually got more riled with Claire's treatment of "doormat" Charlie than I have with Kate (well..perhaps not, but she runs Kate close!).

As for Sun, YES..she has riled me on many an occasion with her treacherous ways and the way she made Jin think that everything was his fault when really she was the one who got him lumbered with Papa Paik through her cheating.

Goodness..this hiatus has dampened my cynism towards some of LOST's characters..now it's all come flooding back!

..and we haven't even mentioned Bernard
