Which LOST Group Would You Join? - Lost Community Forums - Official Spoiler-free Lost Fansite

Knowing what you know now about all of the groups within LOST, if you had a choice, who would you work for and why?

Let's suppose all of the groups in the poll 'wanted' you to join their cause. Who would you sign up for?

It's between Ben's Hitman Squad (Hilarious name by the way) or The Natives (For Richard of course...

I went with the Oceanic 6. They get to go home and eat food that the DI didnt drop, like steak and cake. Being an other seems somewhat stressful and complicated, but then again so does being an 06.

What about an option for Juliet,Sawyer,Rose,Bernard and others? Maybe I would go with them. Life on an island would be cool once you learned how to cohabitate with it. Maybe I would start a new group with them. We could call ourselves The Newislanders and take over.

I cant decide now, but I've already chosen the 06 so there you have it.

lol Gale, i'd love to be Ben's hitman also. I went for the Others, however. Although I agree with KF, "it's stressful being an Other", as Juliet once said.

I guess Jules/Sawyer/Bernard etc are also somewhat of a collective - if they're with Locke then i'd consider joining, but if they're opposed to Locke then i'd rather join Faraday and his redshirts

Amusing, but I would like to think that all the Others - even though lower in the 'hierarchy' [i.e. Aldo] - would develop some knowledge of what the Others are trying to accomplish. Of course though such as Juliet, Tom and Isabella [?] have/had an Ocean of knowledge that I would love to know myself.

So whether I would be a close associate of Ben's or Aldo's lunchtime friend, I would have some kind of insight into the goings-on.

Though I recall Alpert saying to Locke that the Others did not know in detail WHY they were there, so perhaps only Ben knows the inner secrets of the Island and the Others' objectives.

Of course working for the Others would often require to deal with some horrible situations but life at the Barracks and on the Island in general does seem 'tempting' and 'wonderful'.

Okay... let's see. I can't decide so it'll have to go down to elimination...

The Dharma Initiative: Probably not, because they're all dead...

The Hanso Foundation: I'm not entirely sure who's part of the Hanso Foundation, and to be honest they're probably all dead. Or just boring

The "Natives":

They're not dead at least... quite the opposite in fact. Won't have to worry about any pesky wrinkles or grey hairs

Widmore Corp / Freighties: They were blown up so... no.

Paik Industries: Seems a bit boring, and plus the guy in charge has a habit of having you killed if you mess up, so no...

The Others: Half of them are dead so... probably not.

Mittelos: Alpert is the only appealing part really.

Oceanic Six: Sounds a bit stressful to be honest

Ben's Hitmen Squad: Sounds like fun actually... but there's a good chance of getting shot yourself and I don't really have very good depth perception, so that's probably out too.

Oceanic Airlines: Seeing as their planes have the tendancy to crash, then I'd give that a miss.

None of them are really that appealing, but if I was forced (like at gunpoint) I'd probably go with the Natives. They're pretty frackin' hardcore.

And yes, I opted for the long answer
