"So this is it, huh?"

I gotta admitt, Ive never really considered Lost to be sci-fi - In fact ironically, its put my Dad off watching it because it wasn't that clear that it was sci-fi - if it had have been, he would have watched it
.IMO, Ive always considered Lost to have Sci-fi elements, but not to be turley sci-fi, not untill this season at least. I guess thats because I consider sci-fi to be in space or on alien planets, but obviously in this case I've been too closed minded, and now realise that sci-fi is in other ways, and can be more subtle. I always thought that I was open minded when it came to Lost, but this has helped me open my mind to it a bit more and look at it anew, which is good. It doesn't worry me a bit though. I like sci-fi, but if somthings worth watching, Ill watch it. All this genre snobbery gets you no-where. I mean, my sister doesn't normally like sci-fi, but she watches Heros . |

If SciFi was all about space and aliens, most classic Science Fiction works by H.G.Wells or Jules Verne wouldn't be considered Science Fiction at all. ![]() |
