A bar steward he may have been, but I do like the guys voice..has a nice timber to it which made it perfect for the role.

Ha, I agree. He does have a nice voice. It has a sort of...soothing quality to it. He'd be good on the radio, lol.
However, his voice is nowhere near as nice at the southern, gravely drawl that is Sawyer's

I just like the sound of it..he'd also be great reading bedtime stories..although his mercenery disposition could be a problem

I too love his voice - he pronounces words a certain way - almost with an extra "kick" as it were at the end of some words. Noticeably the scene in the Orchid; for instance when he said "hiding in the dark" the 'k' was long.
He definitely would be a great radio voice or bedtime story teller. And yes he does sound like he is crying when he speaks.
