I was thinking that, or possibly New Zealand? But then on occassion he sounded a bit Mancunian (SP?). It was weird.

I love how this is my main concern, lol.

I quite like him - he was very forthcoming with answers which was great. He was quite polite and I cannot see why he cannot be trusted.

He should have been called Captain Birdseye

I like him. He doesn't strike me as a liar either. I think he's been lied to, but he thinks it's the truth. That's if what he's saying isn't true, anyway.

If Michael is infact the Spy, why should we trust him now in regard to not trusting the Captain. Gault seems the most trustworthy Freighter.

Strange man, not sure what to make of him, but I don't trust his compliance - particularly when considered in light of the "don't trust the captain" note that Mike (or whoever) slipped under the door to team army.

Ray's "no you don't (want to speak to the captain)" also suggests some agenda going on with regards to gault's forcoming nature.

He also comes across as a bit of a pirate - he's there to do a job and he hopes to get very rich from it imo, which isn't a crime per se, but this is our island..

I kinda think we've been mislead maybe. As in 'don't trust the captain' 'you don't want to speak to the captain' blah blah blah, maybe he's a really nice guy. But he does work for The devil himself Mr Widmore so prehaps not
