I was listening again to her voice when she was doing the payload countdown thingy and I thought she sounded kinda English. In fact she sounded a bit like Naomi, imo.

I know Miles negated the idea of her having a sister, but I'm wondering whether she does actually have a sister, and could it be Regina? Or perhaps Regina is even her twin or something, thus allowing the actress who plays Naomi to come back into the show at somepoint?

Or perhaps Regina is the R.G bracelet person, as some have already mentioned.

Well, we haven't got a thread in her yet, so I thought i'd post my thoughts upon hearing her voice again in The Economist. After all - look how they kinda disguised Ben's voice in this eppy.

Just wild speculating here.

Yes, I thought she had an RP English accent ... very similar to Charlotte's (not sure she sounded so much like the Mancunian Naomi though). That's at least three Brits on the freighter, so it's a fairly international affair. I think more than anything this supports the possibility that Penny *is* linked up in the proceedings somehow - well, she has to be in some sense because of the photograph - and I reckon that's mostly likely to be via her father and without her knowledge.

Ah yes, good point about Penny - that does seem to point towards more evidence of her (or her fathers, as you say) involvement.

Btw, by 'RP' do you mean really posh?

Yeah, it's probably not Mancunian, although for some reason it reminded me of Naomi's voice. I'll have to go listen again.

Yeah, it's probably not Mancunian, although for some reason it reminded me of Naomi's voice. I'll have to go listen again.

RP is 'received pronunciation' - it's basically your average home counties accent that most non-regional BBC announcers have and that some people wrongly refer to as no accent at all. It's more or less Penny's accent, though I think she has a slightly posher form.

I remember when she was playing Yvonne's friend in the comedy Goodnight Sweetheart in the 1990#(also about time travel LOL!!)
