I really like the character formely known as George Minkowski. He is rather quirky and nervous, very likeable and I think will be one of the Freighters whom we will actually like.

I've said this nearly everywhere now but Daniel is my new favourite

fair enough we haven't seen much of him yet, and he could be some evil genius just pretending to be all bumbling (although i strongly doubt that). i just didn't like it when it seemed kate was fluttering her eyelids to get the gun off him (was it the gun? or the phone

) anyway she just kind of gave the impression that he was stupid. i hope he's not there for comic relief or anything

I agree he seems like such a nice guy, genuine too. Cannot say the same for tempered Miles or Charlotte. I liked Frank Lapidus too, really likeable too.

Kate seemed awefully friendly with Daniel - is he the guy Kate is with in the FF's? Anyway, yes she was kind of acting as though he was an idiot.

that's a good point that. 'he' could be one of the freighties. i doubt it would be miles or frank

i hope it's not daniel though

Yeah i like Frank too, he seems like he has a tiny ounce of a sense of humour, or that might be just because he was on screen with miles

No, but I [and some others] thought he was. I was referring to him as George before last night's episode.

Indeed it could be. Kate seemed to like Daniel, notice how she was smiling at him alot?

Yes he has a humorous way about him and I look forward to his presence in Lost. Miles is okay too, he is just a little tense and worked up. Perhaps Frank can teach him some jokes to lighten him up?

Daniel is amazing, he is like how I would be on the island... almost as if I was off in some other world.

It's also refreshing to have a terrible liar on the show.

Yeah Dan's really nice! At first I thought he was just a bit odd for crying at the tv for no real reason, but he's just so nice and blunty honest, and you can tell that he's not very comfortable with the position he's now in. He doesn't seem like a natural liar or someone who will ruthlessly get what he wants at almost any cost, which makes a nice change from the rest of the people on the island! I hope he does stay as he is though, because I do like him.

Frank seems pretty cool too (Y)

I'm not keen on Miles and don't really have an opinion on Charlotte.

I like him and that makes me nervous on Lost because I never seem to like the nice guys that much (barr Locke of course... and Sayid

) so that alone makes me think there's something below the surface. I think he'll be the character that ends up in a life-or-death situation, forced to pick between saving his own life or the life of someone else and picking himself and then not coping with it.

But FBF, I feel he could be there for comic relief right now; is he reminding anyone else of very early season one Charlie?
