Charlotte Lewis Staples - First Impressions

I can't really put my finger on it properly, but she just grates on me already and unlike the rest I'm not that interested in her at all really. Typical that of all the people Team Locke had to pick up it had to be her!

Thing is I can also see her getting nice and chummy with Locke somewhere down the line, with their initial hostility being overcome by their shared obsession with the island. Don't do it Locke, you're far too good to be hanging out with her...

And I guess I'm just picky when it comes to the female characters! Not one of them has jumped out at me as being one of my favourite characters; most of them have bored or annoyed me. To be honest Juliet is the only female I can watch with any genuine interest!

To be honest that's the same with me and Miles. The moment I saw him I instantly disliked him for a reason that appears to evade me lol.

Really? I seriously can't see that happening personally. For me I think Locke and Ben will go on a continuous two man crusade against all of the Freighties. And imagine what will happen when Charlotte finds out that Locke killed Naomi. I can't imagine them being too chummy after that lol.

This time next week you'll probably love Miles while I'm begging for Charlotte's forgiveness!

I'm not certain that it will happen, but at the moment I reckon it's a possibility. Locke obviously doesn't want much to do with her at present because she's one of the evil Not Penny's Boat crew who've come to do more harm than good to his precious island, but maybe when he learns a bit more about them he might ease up on them a bit, especially Charlotte, since she seems to be interested in some of the mysteries on the island and she's passionate and dedicated to her work and Locke's got similar qaulities. Miles seems particulary unimpressed about what happened to Naomi and I gather he's got a few strong word he wants to say to Locke...perhaps by the time Miles and and co. - who want revenge on Locke for Naomi - reach his team, Charlotte may even be on his side if they do get quite friendly? But that does seem a bit unlikely, especially if the teams meet up fairly soon!

Oh I have perfect taste in my opinions of every character! Good women are definately thin on the ground in Lost world...if it wasn't for her Ben hate I wouldn't find Alex so bad either!

I did know the correct spelling of her name, alas my keyboard didn't keep up with my fingers.

I found her very cold at first..paying off the bloke so she could get her way. As the episode went on I warmed to her - I liked her boundless enthusiasm and joy at being on such a wonderful island. She's an explorer, I like that.

However she appears rather crafty. I don't like that

Ben doesn't trust her - neither do I. She knows more than Daniel, but is just as driven as Miles (Who I do like btw)..

So yeah, she's a good character and I can't wait more to find out more about her..although I'm not sure where I stand with her at the mo..obviously she's a freightie and is a threat to my Benji so.....

Still, nice to have another woman on the show..and wow, it's not a blond. Darlton are becoming becoming adventurous!

Perhaps it is his rather psychotic eyes? I think once his temper wears off he may become more likeable.

True. It does appear that the Ben and Locke romance may have come to an end and this may lead to a Charlotte-Locke alliance. However it will probably lead to a Charlotte-everyone that's not Ben Alliance lol. Well to be honest you know I won't really be yelling at the screen for Miles not to deal justice to Locke, so hopefully Charlotte will see sense and not go with Locke. However Charlotte may merely say that Locke is meant to do something and he'd immediately become attached Sorry this wasn't meant to turn into a Locke bashing thread was it? Funny how I have that ability lol.

It is true we are down on good women. Darlton don't appear to be keen on keeping the lasses alive do they? Particularly the good ones. But just so long as they leave Jules alone And good point Roco, it's our first non-blonde since Lulu!

I think it's his overall weird atmosphere. I mean I quite like Ben (purely from an entertainment perspective) and his eyes are much more psychotic than Miles'.

I think maybe being he is a medium or whatever to the deceased, he is supposed to be rather perculiar - which means there is to end in sight to his energetic and slightly angered personality.

Well hopefully you take some kind of liking to Daniel or Frank.

I really, really, really didn't warm to her. I'm sorry. I don't know what it was about her, but out of all the new characters she was the one I liked the least. She just got on my nerves, constantly trying to be cheerful, and as most of you have said, I don't trust her!

Maybe this'll change but for now, I don't care for her.

I also like Milkes hes the most interesting of the bunch but its nice to have another woman on the block. I think she'll be nice.
