He's too full of himself for my liking ¬_¬ But I can tell already he's going to have a good storyline. I also think he's the real deal, he knew where the stuff was in that house, and he knew Kate was telling the truth (although he could have just been saying it, but he did seem like he had already made his mind up that he wasn't going to believe her)

I think he's great.

Think about it.... you don't know what the hells going on. There are ppl on the island, even though you were told that there were no survivors and the only way to know whats going on for sure is to use your ability by seeing Niomi's dead body. i'd be freaking out too asking to see her.

Hes cool. I think that if he lightens up he'd be a good character .

Anyway, I think he's a great character - very aggressive, but that makes me want to know why..why is he so committed to the cause when others like Daniel are more chilled (if that's the right term)?

The fact that he's a ghostbuster is awesome (man I loved that show)..it gives us evidence that the dead are very much a part of this show - the whispers, the manifestations, the dreams..

Now we have to decipher which of these are genuinely the dead people interacting with the living..and which is the island using their souls/subconscious or whatever to embody them and manipulate the islanders to cause an effect..

In saying that I should clarify that I believe both are in operation - the dead do exist as themselves in the show, and the island (or Jacob) is able to manifest as those who have died (on the island..or who's bodies are on the island, e.g Yemi, Christian).

The thing is, Miles can';t be there just for Ben..he's a medium..surely they didn';t choose him just in case he should encounter any spirits? Surely encountering spirits is one of his main objectives. Someone (could be esn?) mentioned Jacob - good shout and very possible. I would also suggest that we shouldn't overlook the other spirits that have appeared in the show - the whispers for example..they surely belong to the dead..people who have died on the island or who's memories are still entrapped in peoples subconscious (Frank Duckett>Sawyer, for example).

I liked Miles, have seen him in other shows which helps my liking him in Lost. I love his storyline re: contacting the dead - great stuff and a brilliant addition to the show. I think he will lighten up, he just needs some decaff.

Strangely I really liked Miles... he's cool. He has that awesome ability and he's snarky to boot.

I think he's way too sure of himself- like he's the whole hero of the operation when I think Frank is. Though i'm pretty sure he can talk to the dead, about the whole Naomi thing.

I think he is just a little over-confident, nothing wrong with that I suppose - almost a complete opposite to Daniel when you think about it. Daniel seemed rather scared of Miles, even suggesting Miles would kill him - I wonder whether he was joking.

I haven't made my mind up on him yet.

However, what I wanted to discuss was the the actor who played him was in X-men 3. The guy that had spikes that came out of his body. Hence why when I saw him I started laughing.

Let's just hope he doesn't use his mutant abilites on the island

I don't like him, straight off the bat - same as with Juliet, the whole "you can have a discount" (owtte) really grated me. I'm willing to give him a go for a few more episodes and see if I like him but if he starts busting Boone's spirit then I believe I never will lol.
