But what are your initial impressions of Mathew (the 'Oceanic representative' who visited Hurley)?

Yeah he freaked me out too, I kept expecting him to suddenly turn into some sort of monster and gobble Hurley right up... no, seriously

i think hes totally not a Oceanic representative, he would not show credentials.

He could be a Dharma employee trying to get more information from Hurley.

having seen the Oceanic adverts and stuff, they all seem too happy. Mr Abbadon however seems very serious and intent on something.

Especially the wave.

A pure quality character because of it though. I like the way he pronounces things.

Obviously not nice, quite possibly a member of Dharma but he could be a private detective hired by a member of the family / loved one of one of the Oceanic 6 and trying to get information.

Then again he could just be a reporter *shrugs* but I think it's going to be deeper than that.
