Okay..now im not the biggest Jack fan in the world, but you gotta feel bad for the guy..i mean what bad luck landing a woman like Sarah! The man fixes her back and provides her with a good house and home..and ok, maybe he wasnt fulfilling his duties in 'other areas' but still, he didnt deserve to be treated like that by her surely? Oh and she *maybe* cheated on him with his own dad..his own dad, people!!

Same goes with Michael..that mean old witch Susan took his kid away from him and basically screwed him over royaly ..he was a good man, he loved his son so much and didnt deserve what hse did to him, surely.

Anyhoo, who do you think was the meanest out of the 2...Sarah or Susan?

Oh it's gotta be Susan. Separating Michael from his child knowing full well he couldn't afford to go and visit - did she bother paying for him to go and visit? Did she bother bringing Walt with her ever to visit Michael? She even left him with Brian when Mike was in hospital and then had the cheek to ask if Brian could adopt Walt! She's so cold she didn't even show Walt the letters his dad sent him over the years - it's no wonder he resented Mike so much to begin with. For all he knew his dad just walked out on them and didn't bother trying to make contact.


Whereas Sarah - she obviously wasn't getting the attention she deserved from Jack; him coming home at all hours, having to deal with his obsession about fixing Gabriella's father. She could've gone round it in other ways though, that's true. And I don't think she slept with Christian - the guy we see her with is clearly someone else and I believe Christian and her when they said about the phone stuff being about Jack; being worried about him and such.

I just think Susan is a lot colder really and the actual act carried out is worse.

Yeah, Susan for sure. Hugely unlikeable character, downright cruel. Sarah behaved badly and made a mistake, but not without a degree of provocation (though I don't really think Jack deserved that)... Susan was just plain selfish and arrogant and generally pretty vile.

Definetly Susan as Sarah leaving Jack was not all her fault, some of the problems in their relationship were down to Jack. Whereas Susan left Mike and took his child and if it wasnt for her dying Mike probably would of never been able to see Walt again.

Sarah obviously wasnt happy in the relationship and felt she had to get out. She was wrong for cheating on him, you cant deny that. As for Jack 'fixing' her, the woman shouldnt have to feel like she has to be with him forever. Jack is a doctor and was doing his job, he would have done the same to any other patient. Sarah doesnt have a duty to stay with him because he helped her get better.

Susan though is pue evil. Thee cheek of her to take mikes kid away from him. I hate her

Yeah I'd have to go with Susan, for the way she was so easily prepared to abandon Michael and take Walt off around the world just for her career. Clearly Michael wanted to still be a part of Walt's life, but she was just plain mean never to give Walt any of Micheal's letters as soon as he had sent them.

And i think Susan is possibly worse. although i think there was something going on between chrisitan and Sarah (i even thought this when she told him she was leaving him all those eps ago, because of Chrisitians attitude in the eppy) i think taking walt to the other side of the world, and marry a guy who she recently met (bareing in mind she wouldnt marry mike) is terrible lol

Im not suggesting that Sarah was 'bound' to Jack out of duty..im just disgusted at the lack of respect she treats him with..she literally laughed in the poor mans face with her lover on the phone. That must have really hit Jack hard.

Also, i dont think Jack wouldve done the same for any other patient - i thought the whole purpose of the flashback where he fixed Sarah was to show that he was uncommitted before meeting Sarah.. Yes, he was a good doctor but before Sarah he was a cold and clinical surgeon..there was something about Sarah that made him commit, perhaps for the first time since childhood. He invested a lot in her, she could at least have a bit more respect for the man.

The answer obviously has to be Susan.

Sarah shouldn’t need to stay in a relationship with a man she didn’t love just out of some obligation she may have felt because he fixed her. Admittedly the affair first was quite mean but it was better in the long run that she ended things with Jack rather than getting another decade down the line and leaving him when he would have probably been more miserable that she had gone.

I accept that Susan shouldn’t have stayed with Michael if she didn’t love him but the key difference here is that she had fathered a son with Michael that Michael obviously cared a great deal about and practically blackmailed him (with both medical care and saying that contact with him would be worse for Walt) and she him the letters and allowing Walt to think that Michael didn’t care about him enough to write. She shouldn’t have denied Michael access (even if just a few days visit a few times a year – he would have found the money if he really wanted to) as we have no inclination that he was in anyway unfit to be a father (having seen no signs that he mentally or physically abused Susan or had any dependencies or rage issues.)

Hence Susan not only denied Michael the chance to see his son, but also her son the chance to know his father and she did this for purely selfish reasons. So… Susan is by far the worst of the pair.

In the long run, Jack seeing that Sarah was happy and had moved on from him helped him to ‘let go’ of her by bringing his rage to the forefront rather than letting it simmer for even longer before exploding; as we saw can happen with Jack at the destruction of Christian’s coffin.
