Reputations

The board now has the functionality to allow members to give one another Reputation points.

Reputation on in this sense refers to ones contribution.

I have strict rules on this and mayt deativate reputation system if it is abused or used incorrectly, so follow closely.

-You must not reward or minus reputation points to 'test them out' - this will get you a one day ban.

-You must not reward or minus reputation points to because someone is your friend and you want to boost their rep or because you want to spite someone - if either is suspected you will get a one day ban

-If you give someone a reputation you must fully explain your reason..be clear as to the reason WHY they are being reputated.

-You must only give people reputation points based on their contribution to LOST issues and/or for their specific helpfulness - no silly reasons please and certainly no quid pro quo (points for points in return).

-There will be limits on how many reps you can give in any one day.

-To clarify - (if I have allowed Reputations) ONLY give them for the situations outlined above and only for good reasons.

-Bear in mind that i see ALL reputations given as they are logged.

Reputations system will be under constant revision and observation - if members cannot use it correctly then it will either be limited to certain members/deactivated completly.

There are 2 ways in which Rep points can be given:

1. Via the postbit (section under the avatar in any members post). You must click on the number next to 'Reputation', you will then be sent to a screen where you can rep that member and state the reason why.

2. Via viewing a members profile, by going to: Reputation > Rate user
