Thread Rating

We now have the ability to rate threads on a scale of 1 to 5.

The rating system is designed to give useful, helpful and interesting threads acknowledgement. If you find come across a thread which you find useful, helpful or interesting (particularly if it relates to 'LOST'), then you are able to rate that thread accordingly. Likewise if you come across a thread which you think is SPAM, inappropriate or unsuitable then you can rate that thread accordingly.

This rating system is designed to encourage and reward quality and interesting threads.

Please use the rating system responsibly. This system will be under constant review and any abuse of the system may result in it being revoked from indivduals or only made useable for staff.

To use the Thread Rating System, look for the 'Rate this thread' option at the bottom of most threads. Select the score/rating that you wish to give it. Your rating will then be put averaged with other peoples rating of that thread. Hence the current rating of any given thread is the 'average' score, made up of every score given to that thread and averaged out. The current rating of a thread can be seen on the normal thread view inside any forum - it is represented by yellow stars.
