We - well Roco to be more specific since he came up with the idea - thought it would be a good thing to have a seperate place for anyone to share their orginal writing that is not related to Lost.

I think there are a few pieces in the general creative minds forum that I'll be transferring over here soon, but if you want to write something that is not Lost based please post it here

For the moment there's no plans to make another sub-forum for writings based on other tv shows but if there's a lot of interest we may make one, but for now please put any such work in this forum as well, and leave the main creative minds section for Lost work only.

(And, to go slightly off-topic, I was thinking of starting up some writing competitions again. We did start this a good while back but it didn't really get going so I thought there's no harm in trying again, so if you're interested keep any eye out for something in about a week or so...)

and ooo writing comp! i don't think i got the chance to join in any before. my uh... bills kept not getting paid

Yeah any writing that's not related to Lost can be put in here, such as stories based on other films and tv shows, original fictional writing, your latest school essay you're really proud of, etc...

And I will get round to reading some of the work in here and the general Lost forum soon, since they look really good!

So, so impatient!

I was thinking either Monday or Tuesday and have each one run for a week, so that if - for example - it starts on Tuesday, people will have the rest of the week plus the weekend to write it and then we have a day to look over them. I did have some other ideas for shorter comps that require a shorter word count, but I won't rush ahead and I just want to see how this one's received first
