Right, well in Greek mythology there was the greta hero Odysseus a man of metis. He was marrid to Penelope and they lived on the island of Itacha. Odysseus was called up and had to joni the Greek army in the seige of Troy (even though he tried to get out of it) and Penelope pormised him that she would wait for him not matter what happened and shoudl would not remarry. So Odysseus sailed off for Troy and spent ten years there in the war before he came up with the ida of the Trojan Horse whcih won them the war. But Odysseus commited an act of hubris, which is believeing yourself better than the god, so the gods been vengeful descided to punish Odysseus by making him and his fleet of ships sail off course, getting them lost. To cut a long story short Odysseus spent ten years trying to get back home to Penelope. But Penelope was been presured into marriage as everyone believed Odysseus said. So 108 (yes, that's right) came to the isladn of Itacha looking for her to pick one to marry, so the suitors took over Odysseus palace, ate all of his food and killing his cattle- which is a late of xenia (friednlyness to strangers) which is a very bad thign to do in Greek culture. So, naturally the gods decide to punish them. So when Odysseus arrives home (with Athene's help) he, his 16 year-old son Telemachus, a loyal swineherd,= Eumaues and a goat hearder take on the suitors and slaugther every last one. Odysseus and Penelope are reunited...ahhhh...
