Great spot Nick! Is it a actually a different woman aswell?

..if so then it looks like old Pen [or the character who plays her] wasnt cast/planned til later.

youd think if they got the exact same setting, and desmond to wear and pose the exact same way, they could at least make the 2 pens be wearing the same clothes

Although maybe it wasnt meant to be the same pic..perhaps it's meant to be different..afterall he mustve had loads of pics with him and Penny.

Though still a good spot and 'might' well be a continuity error.

Wow, well spotted! It almost looks as if the girl in the first picture has no head at all - as if you can see the boats behind her? The white and black shirts follows the black and white theme again, too. Surely it must be deliberate, otherwise why bother showing the photo in Orientation?

I think its only because Sonya walger or whatherface was not cast at the start of season 2 so could not have been put on the picture hense the lack of light on the picture.

I don't think we should read to much into this. It would be like Jack having a picture ofhis wife in the piloy episode of a blonde woman that wasn't Julie Bowen for example.
