Where The Hell Is Desmond?

Since there isn't a Desmond forum I thought I would pose this question here, where is he? Another hatch? Dead? Captured? Working with the Others?

Any ideas?

I'll get round to adding the Des forum today I think.

Im a tad weary of Desmond. I do think that he's a pawn in all of this but like Danielle, I think he knows more than he's made out.

Also he must realise by now that the computer has either been fixed and thus the button pressed, or that the whole button thing was a scam, a test, an experiment [from his point of view]..seeing as the island hasnt blown up or whatever he was expecting. Unless, of course he had indeed been captured by the Others/Hanso fnd..or unless he was working with 'them'..?

I suspect however that he's hiding away somewhere..maybe he's met up with Mike? Though i wouldnt rule out the possibility of him being in lieu with the Others..

I will add more to this later!

I think even if Desmond knows the computer has been fixed, he wouldn't want to go back to it. Maybe he knows of the UV map is looking for places mentioned on it?

Thats a high possibility. Afterall he wouldnt just run off into the jungle if he didnt know where he was going would he..because if he thinks the worlds going to end if the button is not pushed then it wouldnt matter where you are, it would still end. So surely he must have roughly known where he was heading..perhaps the place he headed off to offers some form of safety or protection?

Oh my poor Desmond, where is he, has that Danielle got her claws into him?? Is he with Birdseye and his buddies??

I'd like to think that he was innocent in all this but, like Danielle he knows much more that he is letting on!!

I'd like to think that he'd ran into Danielle somehow and maybe hitched up with her. When he left the hatch he didn't have much with him. Does he have the survival skills to survive the jungle alone? Where would he find food? How would he defend himself from the others? I think that if he hasn't found help from Danielle then he's in a whole lot of trouble.

I now think that he must surely be with the Others. He took enough vaccine and food to last him a few days..he must have had a rough idea of where he was going imo. Perhaps he knows about the others..in fact perhaps he's met with beardy and co before.

I think a lot of what Desmond knows about the Island/The Others etc hinges on how clued up Kelvin was on the whole situation.

Well he was Dharma, and so was Ethan, who we know is an Other. So I think Desmond must have gone back to the Others, and that is how we have Fenry Gale(Fake Henry).

Wish I'd found this earlier, because it's got all the stuff I've been wondering.

Because of the way he legged it in such a panic, I'm sure he believes something dreadful is going to happen if the numbers aren't entered. So I'm guessing he was running toward a shelter/bunker somewhere on the island. He's holing up there for now, trembling with fear. But he'll be back. (Anything on the blast door map? Desmond must know some stuff about the island - the food drops at least).

I also reckon we'll get a few more "numbers entered late" scenes, with more rumblings and shakings and scary noises. The kind of thing that convinced Desmond the numbers had to be entered. He was in there alone for a long time, so he must have slept through the alarm once or twice.

Of course, the whole thing could have been an act - if he was part of setting up a psychology experiment. Might even have begun when he first encountered Jack and told him to have faith (or whatever). He said he was on a boat which wrecked, but where is it? Bottom of the sea?

True..but is Desmond 'Dharma'. i mean, he wears the Dharma suit and pressed the Dharma button but the big question is..is he an official Dharma employee [as in, does he know more than he's letting on..etc] or is he a mere pawn hismelf who was genuinly lured into the button pressing by the enigmatic 'Kelvin'?

If the former allplies then i certainly think that he knew were he was going and is probably with his other buddies right now.

Although, im not too sure that 'Henry' is here as a result of Desmond..maybe though..?

I don't think Desmond is a "willing" Dharma guy. I think he got "persuaded" to push that **** button. So when he legged it he was probably happy just to be outa there!!!!
I just hope he comes back soon. There is soooo much he could tell them.

Ooooh... 'SOS' just finished, Jack & Kate out in the jungle and someone running towards them out of the dark. I thought it was going to be Desmond! But it was Michael.

May I ask why Charlie's days are numbered? Did I miss something in that episode?

Thought that was a pretty good one, glad to see Michael back though he looked a bit knackered..
