Although i didn't much care for Rousseau, i believe that she deserved better than to be left disfigured and buried in a shallow grave with her tongue hanging out of her mouth.
As one of her greatest enemies, I offer her the solace of knowing that Alex cried for Ben..and not her upon her impending demise.

Rest well Rue-so, rest well.

Are you serious?

1. Danielle was dead. Would be rather strange for Alex to call for her mum to save her when she's lying dead in the jungle somewhere.

1. True, but Sun cried out for Jin as she gave birth to Ji Yeon - yet he might be dead..

I guess Sun appreciates and loves Jin, unlike Alex's feelings towards 'mother'.

2. Ben was a mere by-stander - Keamy was the one with the gun. Oh, and let's not forget that she also hollered out Ben's name right after 'mother' and Karl got shot - Ben wasn't exactly within earshot then, was he. she cried out his name with such hope.

"I'm bens daughter..i'm his daughter"

Obviously Rousseau's name doesn't carry as much 'weight' as Ben's.
