Domestic violence, human torture, baby snatching, xenophobia towards 'Others'...

These are the hallmarks of Danielle Rousseau.

And yet we trust this woman? We bring her into our bosoms and sympathise with her tall tales?

It's time Lostie awareness month and Rousseau must not escape the glare of blame!

Ally is not safe with this woman..a woman who takes great pleasure in inflicting DOMESTIC abuse on the father of her child

Anyway, how is it domestic violence when Ben isn't actually the biological father in any way shape or form to Alex? Nor is he a willing step/foster parent, as to say this would suggest that Danielle accepted Ben as being the step/foster parent and so then he could be described as her father. The bottom line is that Ben and Alex are not related and so to call it domestic violence is surely an incorrect label?

We do not know that Ben took Alex out of the kindness of his heart so as to protect her from her raving madwoman of a mother. Yes it's certainly possible, but so is the idea that they stole Alex wickedly from her mother just for the sake of testing her; just like Walt. Walt was took from his parent, and would probably have been kept like Alex should Ben not have been put in such a predicament as he was in the Swan. It is only Michael's determination and good fortune that got Walt back, otherwise he may well have been the next Alex. And I wouldn't exactly call Michael a stark raving lunatic that would have posed more danger to his child than good. (Though thinking about it...)

Baby snatching....sound familiar with the Others? Coz it sure as hell does to me. Danielle took Aaron in the vague hope that she would get her child back that was stolen from her.

Human torture....Room 23? Keeping Sawyer and Kate locked in cages? Sawyer's pacemaker ordeal?

I don't think we can trust Danielle either, but Ben is not her father, this much is true. If this turns out to be true and Dani is lying then her complete character is destroyed by the writers and shall go down in history as one of the fastest ways to to blow a character to smithereens since Arzt. So if Ben is not her father....then the domestic violence side of this argument holds little standing.

Indeed, she's just a terrible role model really. And what makes me laugh is the fact that she thinks she can raise Alex

Imagine what she would've turned into under Danielle's parantage

Lots of people find Rousseau a really fun and interesting character (myself included), and I know of a fair few who want her to be telling the truth (myself also included), but I don't recall ever having seen anyone who says they trust her. I think they trust her, as in believe her to be telling the truth, beleive that she isn't duplicitous, believe that she is a all round good egg, believe her stories etc etc - trust is trust is trust

Personally I neither trust not like her. She's an animal:P

The furthest I'll go is that she may or may not be telling the truth about her story (or at least she may think she's telling the truth, depending on how deluded she is) - I don't actually think she's ever told any proven lies thus far (though it feels as though she has), but her story is far from readily believable, she stole Aaron and she killed a lot of people for a reason that isn't yet clear. She's a very enjoyable character, but I really don't see how anyone could assess her character and label it 'trustworthy'.

So, you're saying that no LOST fan believes that her stories are legit and no LOST fan believed that she was telling the truth about "the Others coming" and no LOST fan believes he story about how she came to be on the island?

Sorry TOO, but If I were a betting man I'd take those odds any day!

But people do and have, lol! There are people who believe her stories. Not saying all of them are wrong, but she does have her believers..
