Just had a thought how would Danielle get through the sonic fence on her own - she must either have left with the Others still be on the inside of the fence with or without the Others or (long shot) seen from a distance someone punching in the code (and remember it) to deactivate the fence i can't see that she would have been able to go over it again on her own.
