Rereading it I think you have nailed Sayid. I can actually hear him saying these lines.

EDIT: If the humours gone take a break, or just write anyway letting it flow.

lol thanks lupinbell. when I write Sayid I just don't use any shortened words like 'isn't' or 'doesn't', just say is not etc instead... if that makes sense

Sayid: It’s not your fault Jack. The ambulance got here just in time. I am positive that they will be able to help him at the hospital.

Jack: The hospital has gone downhill ever since I left to work for you Sayid! He’ll be even worse off there than he was here!

Sayid: I think you should go have a lie down, Jack. You have been doing a lot of sawing today. More than usual.

Jack: [sighing] Yeah, you’re right. Um… did I hear Kate earlier?

Sayid/Charlie: No/Yes. [they look at each other]
