I'm pretty sure this will have been done before on here somewhere, but i'm lazy and i can't be bothered to look

But i was thinking perhaps starting a new Lost story (with same characters or new characters) and write a chapter each? I'm not going to post anything until people say whether they're up for it or not, but there's some good writers on this forum and i think a pretty good story could be knocked up

if not, then just shun me...

Off the top of my head I can't remember if such a thing was done before, but it probably was...writing S4 was good fun, but that seems to have lost momentum unfortunately.

How long were you thinking of each chapter being?

not too long... some people might get put off reading reams and reams and it may mess up the flow of the story, so about 500-1000 words maybe? it would be cool to steer away from the show's general plot, you know? like perhaps make up our own storyline altogether if you catch my drift. and i don't know whether people would prefer just to wing it or have a bit of planning

Yeah 1000 words seems a good length, and it would be good to make up new plots or put twists on existing ones or something.

I think it could be fun to wing it so that no-one knows what you're going to write or where you're going with the chapter, but some ground rules could be laid down if you want like not killing off any character until everyone has had at least one chance to write them or something. And before it starts decide on where and when and with which characters the story will start?

i think it would be good to leave the rules to a minimum, as long as no one intentionally knocked off a character that they didn't like. Or another rule could be that you can't kill off your worst character, eg. JB can't kill off Locke (sorry JB

) It would be interesting to see one of the show's major characters being bumped off pretty early... or that might just be me being a 'tard

yeah i think we'll have to set the scene a little before we start. Start with one character and then gradually introduce some more. or something
