Lost by Chapter

Yeah Changing Fate was very good and I did enjoy writing it, and it also has the honour of being the multiple author on-going story that's lasted the longest on this forum!

Were you thinking about picking it up from where it left off with whoever wants to carry it on, regardless of which author is supposed to come next?

Oh and fbf I'm sorry about slacking with Falling Into Obscurity! To be honest I haven't been in a Lost frame of mind lately, but I'm 95% confident that after I get S4 on DVD start watching I'll get into it again, as I really don't want our story to die! Just to let you know

The longest? Really? I think it lasted a month or something didn't it? I have no concept of time It was fun though. I fell in love with the new version of Frank

Well that's the tricky bit really... cos Malion was up next but it depends whether he still wants to do it. If he doesn't - which would be fair enough - anyone could go next but ideally someone would have to pick up his storyline. The same goes for JB, and his would be trickier cos it was full of twists that were obviously leading up to something he had in mind... I'm pretty sure Beachy would want to get involved again if she's not too busy, and lost-lover hasn't been around much either, but I think she would carry on. It'll be more complicated than I thought I suppose we can just wait and see who's still interested... But actually answering your question yeah whoever wants to carry it on

Oooh I actually forgot about that I know what you mean, I haven't been in one for ages, but then I watched a bit of S4 the other day and it aaaall came flooding back lol. It won't die, it'll be still around after the end of the world with the cockroaches and Keith Chegwin

This forum doesn't have a brilliant track record of continuing or completing an on-going story, lol. Writing S4 was great fun and produced some excellent work from people, but unfortunately that died as well.

We can ask him and see what he thinks. He hasn't been on regularly for a while now but he does make an appearance every now and again, and I think JB may be having log in problems, which may or may not explain his absence. Maybe we could PM all the authors involved and ask them if they want to carry on, and if they haven't replied by a certain deadline we either carry it on or do something else with it?

It's just having an extended hiatus like Lost! I think our characters need it, lol. But it won't die so long as we don't forget about it, and after I get back into watching Lost I'll re-read all of the chapters we've written so far before writing my next one. And poor cockroaches, having to share the apocalypse with him...

I didn't read much of the season 4 thing, but what I read was good. It's a shame stuff like that dies, but I guess it just takes one person to drop out to kind of confuse everything and that's the problem of having multiple writers I suppose.

It was good fun and I really liked writing my chapter for it (like with Changing Fate it got far too long, lol). Yeah it can be difficult if not everyone is equally committed to projects like this, but real life and other things can get in the way which is understandable.

lol yeah i remember at the begining saying 'no more than 1000 words' and then it turned into like, 3000 and then just whatever the hell anyone wanted I've been reading it over again and it's taking fricking forever! I never realised that it was so long because I was just flitting through it before, reading the odd bits and pieces, but reading it all in order from start to finish... It's still good though lol. Who's going to take over JBs bit then? Because i don't think he's coming back, sadly

I think when they come online they'll probably just post in here when they see we've been posting again. I was messaging Beachy anyway so I told her we were thinking about reviving it.

Ha yeah it was just us Oh yeah, creepy dead Chuck lol I remember now. Locke was just being weird and cryptic and your character is probably going to throw a gun at my character to get her back Oooh we'll have to pick that up again soon I want to know what happens
