Ana's a 'threat'..so i guess Eko's next then!?

OK..from what we learnt in this eppy it seems to me [and some of you so i see] that the Others clearly feel that Ana is a threat to them. I read someone[?] saying that she's a bit too much of a 'loose cannon' for their liking and i would tend to agree with that!

So if we think about it..could there be another target on their list..and not the 'good list'...but the list of threats that they want to erradicate? Because remember on the otherside of the island..on that 1st night, they came for Eko [and a few other men i believe] and later on Goodwin implied that they did this to get rid of the 'threats'..which means that they dont see Eko as a 'good' person, but as a threat instead...

Anyway, so seeing as they also saw Ana as a threat...does this mean that they will hatch a plan to rid us of Eko??

Is being a 'threat'..worse than being a 'bad person'..because wasnt Ana just on the 'bad person' list at first [before she killed Goodwin] and then she got demoted it seems. So i guess as well as Eko, we should be worried about Charlie..? Afterall..he killed Ethan..and he's also a loose cannon if you ask me!

So Eko, Charlie..are they on the others list of targets/threats? Will Eko's intimidation of Henry in TWT[?] come back to haunt him?

I don't think he meant to be intimidating. He just has poor social skills. I think it was intended as a genuine apology. That might buy him some of Henry's good will...in a rather startling turnaround from the previous weeks, Henry now seems to care a great deal about the fates of his comrades (hitherto he'd seemed despairing of his situation and utterly contemptuous or at least terrified of those above him - now he's back on their side, which I think is a shame in terms of his character development, but there you go).

Well they tried to take Eko earlier and that can only of been because he was "good" so unless that changed there minds after he killed the people that tried to take him i don't think they'll come after Eko.

Yeah, you have a point with Eko - I can see it being meant both ways..as a genuine apology and as a bit of intimidation..just to let him know sort of thing..

I find Henry's whole fear/respect with his people very intriguing and i agree with what you say in some respects. But imo he 'still' seemed to be in fear of this "great man"..but he did indeed show great compassion for the fallen Goodwin.

I wonder though whether his absolute fear of his people [shown in previous episodes] and his constant remarking of "im already dead" was a hoax in order to appeal to the losties in someway..or is there both a sense of fear and respect/loyalty above all else amongst these others?

Is "HIM" all he's cracked up to be? Has Henry been conditioned somewhat? or is it all for effect..

Perhaps [devils advocate here] there is no HIM?

They did try to take him as he was a threat but i think the way he handled the knowledge of Henry would have stood him in good light, he went in and apologised for killing his comrades and said it will not happen again wheras Ana hung around and took it upon herself to watch Henry 24/7 and to make him talk.

I think this would exhonerate Eko from any future assasination attempts.

Nah Eko is good they tried to take him the first night but then he did kill one.

Its hard to say, the fact Henry wanted Ana dead makes me think Michael came to kill her as part of henrys falied mission.

What gets me is why do teh others think they are good. They killed poor Scott!!
