The last of the season..who is your season 4 finale 'Hero of the Week'?

Jack Shepherd

Say what you will about Jack, he did keep his promise to get (most of) his people 'home' (despite it being a mistake in the long run), and he did save the life of Desmond. He also had the decency to show up to Locke's funeral, and aside from Sayid, seems to be the O6 member who is the most willing to rectify his error(s) in the future.

Benjamin Linus

Ben bravely fought back his own personal grief and disappointment at being de-throned and saved the lives of the Losties and the island by moving said island through the vacuum created by the Casimir effect. Ben also defended Alex' honour by stabbing the taunting Keamy through the heart - an act that showed just how much he loved his only daughter. Future Ben is also co-ordinating the return to the island for the O6, whilst keeping them safe from people out to harm them. A heroic performance by the former leader of the Others.

Michael Dawson

Michael not only sought redemption, but he gained it by having the brains to delay the detonation of Keamy's explosives. He may not be able to make-up for what happened to LuLu, but he saved many lives due to his determination and integrity.

Ben - I felt sorry for him in the end and he seems to be on the good side (but still killing people as always)

Micheal - he died trying to save everyone else's lives , Instead of running like everyone else he stayed trying to defuse the bomb to the bitter end and thats why for me he reedemed himself

Michael. A hard decision for me but I think he redeemed himself by secrificing his life, wiothout a chance to ever say goodbye to his son, to help give everyone more time to flee the boat. He told Jin to leave him to try to diffuse the bomb himself, and told him to go and look after his family, I think it's heartbreaking that after that Jin still didn't have enough time to leave.
And as much as I've been debating Ben for blowing up the boat he came very close to being my Hero of the week. He gave up the island which he loves and his place as leader of his people with the knowledge that he can never return. To do all that in spite of everything he's been through was very good of him.
By the way, I think it's very funny that you've got Jack up here as a Hero candidate when you also have him as a Villan candidate.

I know Ben banashed himself to save the island and all that and as much as I love him he did do wrong by killing people to save others. [He didnt have to kill Keamy and the people on the freighter. Because it's only to do with this episode I can't call him a hero yet because we don't know what's happened to the island so I chose Michael. He did wrong in the past and now he redeemed himself. He could of let Des or Jin stay and die but he took of the responsibilty and he saved lives. Go Michael

I chose Michael. He bought the O6 enough time to get off of that freighter and saved their lives. I hope they bring Michael back as a "ghost" now. I hate to see him go.

Micheal did do the good and decent thing by staying behind to try and defuse the bomb and it was nice to see him do his best to pay for his mistakes.

But I still have to go for Ben though, since while he may not have done one stand out, defining action (like Sawyer jumping out of the helicopter risking death or Michael staying behind with the bomb and risking death), he did all he possibly could to try and save the Island, meaning he also did everything he could to save everyone esle on it. He sacrificed something of huge importance to him: something that has defined him and guided him and given his life purpose, which is his place on the Island. Not just standing aside to let Locke take over he banished himself in order for it to be protected, rather than fight it out to the bloody end in a stubborn attempt to keep everything exactly as it is...exactly as how he had originally planned and wanted it.

And Jack...dear goodness no not a hero!

true, he killed one (very evil) person, but I guess it's less than most of the Losties

Well, I don't think he 'chose' to kill Keamy MEP. He lashed out because the man provoked him - imagine if you were in his shoes and had suffered his loss..it would be very difficult not to lash out..especially with Keamy mocking the death of Alex in such tight confines.

Also, I could be wrong, but I could swear that SAWYER didn't HAVE TO kill COOPER. But hey, let's cry him a river and go "lalalalalalala" (comment aimed at the general out-pouring of sympathy towards Sawyer byw..not anyone in particular )

I know he didnt choose to. And I understand the circumstances anybody would go in for the attack but he still did it so that's why Mikey is the hero for this week because like I said he redeemed himself and tried to save lives.

LOL, of course not..it's of no relevance to me who people choose because I respects peoples choices. Also, I LOVE Mike, he's one of my favourite all-timers, so it would be an honour to see him win. Although it looks as if Benjz has got this one
