The only thing I can think of is Clementine..as it would serve as a reference point for "Something Nice About Home", and the thing that Kate is doing for him?

Or it may have been something else which will be revealed in S5, considering we couldn't hear what he said to her.

Nah, that would be fine, since it's similar to the whispers..it's something that was said in the episode, and so it'd be great if you've got the transcript?

Gotta laugh at Kate though - the man said say sorry to her, not become bossom buddies with Cass. Although it's probably because she knows her from their past scandles. Small world.

I know I'm being selfish but I really don't want Kate to be friends with Cassidy. I want her to pass on the message, if that's what it is (and I hope it is!) but I just don't want a friendship. Kate is well...Kate. She may have some, very small, tiny, almost un-noticeable like qualities to Cassidy but I want Cass to be happy with Clementine.

But I must just add, Sawyer's sacrifice was lovely, and I really hope he is giving a message to Cass and Clem, it's very important because I love this relationship.

Though how is Kate supposed to find his daughter. I suppose it is not out of the question, especially if Cassidy hears Sawyer's name on the News as one of the deceased and contacts Kate [also seeing her on the News].

I'd say Cass must have seen Kate on the news and heard Sawyer's name and tracked her down, then Kate realised who she was and past on the message and renewed her old friendship.

While I'm in this thread I'd like to go back to something Jack said in episode 4:10, in the flashforward to Kate, in regards to Sawyer.
Jack: I wanna know where you were. I wanna know who you were with.
Kate: It doesn't matter, Jack. please.
Jack: No, tell me. Tell me!
Kate: I was doing something for him.
Jack: For who?
Kate: For Sawyer.
Jack: But he's not here, is he? No. No, he made his choice. He chose to stay. I'm the one who came back. I'm the one who's here. I'm the one who saved you.

With the events of the last episode I'm now of view Jack's lying about saving Kate. Sawyer saved them all by jumping out the chopper and thereby giving Frank enough time to land, if it wasn't for this act then none of them would have got home.
Okay, rant over, sorry for the interruption.
