Sun's Working for Ben?

Sun's character has so much potential after this episode - after buying a controlling stake in Paik Heavy Industries (4.12) she is now a very powerful corportate player. She not only has Widmore as a contact..but she has (knowledge of) something he wants - Ben..the island.

What interests me is how she found out about Widmore? Obviously Widmore and Mr Paik are business associates (Paik possibly involved in the island, with Paik providing the construction of the hatches etc), so perhaps she found out via a business trail from Paik's records?

More likely, and this is what i'm hoping: she is secretly already on Team Ben and is luring Widmore in with Ben's help. Sun is very rich..rich enough to buy a controlling stake in PHI - Oceanic couldn't have given her that much money - i'm thinking she got a slice from Ben, as part of their plan to protect and return to the island?

I'm liking Sun better at this stage.

I also think that the Paik heavy Indistries logo looks very similar to the theme on the Orchid Station logo:



More reason to associate Paik's involvement in the island..and Sun as being central to the Oceanic '8' getting back to the island

It wouldn't actually surprise me if Sun was working for Ben. He's already got Sayid working for him, and since at the end of the episode Ben said to Jack that he had "a couple of ideas" for how to get them all back to the island despite Sun blaming Jack for Jin's death, I'm thinking that he's already got most of them onside.
I agree, Sun's character is alot more interesting now. Good point about the money, we know Ben isn't exactly short of cash so it's not too far-fetched to assume he gave some to Sun, especially if it helps her to go "undercover" and make a contact of Widmore.

hehe, I loved his "i've got a few ideas" line (when doesn't he!).
I agree..I think that Ben has already got most of them onboard - I think only Jack and Kate are left..I think Hurley has already been convinced by Sayid - they've made a point of building the friendship between those two at the end of the season (Hugo inviting Sayid over for a kiss from Mama Reyes, for example), so I think Sayid has or will eventually convince Sayid that Team Ben is the place to be.

Yeah, I'm really hoping she turns into a more interesting character..they haven't got many consistently great main female characters (imo), but Sun could soon change that - she's got a motive that we as an audience can all sympathise with, and she's now a more devisive character..and a mother. Go mums!
