If not just for the peanuts bit. Rose is the man!

But the point of the thread (yes there is one) is his exchange with Charlotte when he said 'It's just you spent so much time trying to get back here'. I think it's pretty self explanitory when Charlotte says to Daniel that she'd been looking for where she'd been born... but I still find this all intruiging. Maybe she left the island round about the time Widmore did (because he's obviously been there before )

I'm aware that's a bit ramble-y but I'm tired

I think Rose's brief appearance was pretty random! She hasn't had much of a presence in this series and she just pops up to have a go at Miles. I like her better in last season's finale I think.

But yeah Miles is still quite an intriguing character, such as how he knows that about Charlotte - and how he knew Mike and other on the Freighter were lying about something. But I just don't find Charlotte interesting at all, even though efforts have been made for her, such as her speaking Korean and now what, she may have been born on the Island or lived a past life on it or something?

I think his exchange with Red was very intentional, and it leads us to consider whether she was born on the island and as you say, whether she is some relation to Widmore or a D.I. member. She's been the least interesting freighty imo, so this is a good way to make her more interesting next season. As I say, it seems intentional and not just something they've tacked on.

Also, and perhaps more importantly at this moment in time, is how Miles knows this. I'm thinking that it's because he is able to communicate with the dead (whispers) and they have told him that she's a "native", if you will. Perhaps they told him directly or perhaps he just overheard, cos they're (the whispers) always chattering away about something aren't they.

An interesting plot development.

I loved the Miles appearence in this one. The guy always makes me laugh
Aside from that, he's very interesting in the way he seems to know random, but important, facts about people - first Mike, now Charlotte?
Nice idea about the whispers telling him these things too, I hadn't thought of that. It would make sense though, considering he found about about Rousseau and Karl through contact with the dead.

Rose's threat to someone this finale wasn't as good as her one to Jack last time!

'If you say live together die alone one more time Jack, I'm going to punch you in the face...'

Oh Rose, if Jack ever needed a good smack it was in this episode. In fact it was needed several times...

Oh, I can imagine Rose punching Jack, that would be classic.

And then Jack would scream and cry and pull a gun on her...and Rose would just give him a look and get even madder, lol.

I can see Rose throwing all the dharma food at Jack.

Jack and Rose fighting. That sounds like a brilliant scene for S5.
