I still think he looked like Locke with a wig.
Locke's dead in 2007. Jacob's a spirit, presumably. There has been lots of time-travel stuff going on recently. Is it possible? ![]()

It's looking more and more likely that they could go down that route - especially in light of the Cabin Fever Dalai Lama-esque scene and, as you infer, the coffin scene in this episode.
If Locke is dead, then it could make for a great narrative if he is reborn (if you will) as an iteration of Jacob once they take his body back to the island.
