To my suprise we see that Jin is still alive and well by the end of this episode - he not only climbs aboard the Zodiac (raft) but he actually makes it to the freighter..
I'm left wondering how, exactly, he dies..because crucially we now know for sure that he IS dead, and in Ji Yeon Sun is not simply leaving a coded message to him because she can't reveal that he's still alive on the island. This is actually quite sad - first Charlie..and now another one of our most loved characters looks set to cop it within the final two episodes of the season. Interestingly Sun tells Paik that he is one of TWO people who she holds responsible for Jin's death - i'm thinking that she hasn't got the awareness to actually include her cheating and trecherous self in that list, so i'm wondering who the other person is ..at the moment i'm thinking either Michael, Desmond or Widmore.. But seriously..she really should be holding herself accountable too - i mean SHE was the one who cheated on him, witheld the fact that she knew all along about Jin working for her father, and tried to do a runner on him at the airport. I guess Sun is as morally skewed as Kate - I bet she's not even sorry for what she did to Colleen, seeing as we're on the subject of 'responsibility'.![]() Anyhoo..Jin..dies..how? ![]()

Tbh I think the freighter is going to explode with Jin, Michael and Desmond all on it. Its fairly safe to assume that Franks helicopter is going to be the O6's method of escape, so you can picture Jack, Kate, Hurley, Aaron and Sayid all on the helicopter and they fly past the freighter but oh dear, they've only room for one more?! So Jin has a big emotional moment with Sun and then she leaves, and as they fly off into the sunset ... boom.
I know killing the 3 of them is unlikely; but I just thinking that they wouldnt introduce this whole Island moving thing without it actually happening in some form, so that leaves people like Michael, Desmond and Jin at a bit of a loose end as to where they fit on the show, well apart from Desmond? But thats just my 5 minute prediction lol, lets hope the writers spend longer than 5 minutes on it ![]()

Sadly, your 10 min prediction sounds pretty likely to me TDS, but I really hope it doesn't end this way. It is however likely we're gonna see some more deaths by the end of the season - as if Rouseau and her daughter weren't bad enough. But it WILL be extremely sad if they kill off Desmond, Michael and Jin, the latter two being from the original cast. Why, oh why must it end this way?

I reckon the Freighter will explode or something too, tbh! There was something about the way Sun left the room with the explosives in in this episode....she kind of turned round and the door was just about to close, with Jin & the explosives inside...definately a hint! However i'm wondering what will happen to Desmond...he can't die!! :'(

Also can i say that i still don't think it is 100% that Jin is actually dead. I mean, it is very likely that he is, but we don't know that for certain yet. Sun would have had to tell her father that Jin was dead, because she wouldn't be allowed to say if he was still alive. But there is a slight chance that he is still on the island. Just saying because i dont think we can assume anything right now!

Tbh I think Desmond is the most likely to survive, I dont thinkt they would build up the story with Penny the way they have this season just to kill Des off randomly. If he does die before the end of the show it'll be in some way connected to Penny.

Have you guys ever considered, that Jin is not dead, and that Sun only thinks he is?
He seemed more concerened about her leaving than him going with her. Perhaps he wanted her to think he was dead, or something.

It couldn't have been that long since Jin would have died and the Oceanic 6's rescue that Sun woud no longer be grieving. Quote:

However the thing which would prompt me to believe that Jin IS dead, is my belief that there will be blood in this finale. I'm pretty sure that at least one or two major 'players' will die (going on previous finales). Now I don't think they'll take out Michael just yet (although if he is the man int he coffin and they decide to explain that this season, then yeah maybe he could die in the next 2 episodes)..I don't think Des will die yet - he's still got the Penny story. Same for Locke and Ben..I don't think they will die (well we know Ben doesn't). The O6 are alive into next season. Which leaves only Claire and Jin (and the likes of Rose and Bernard). I think that one if not both of these characters are game for the chop. Which is sad - if it's Jin - as he is really coming into his own again.

I genuinely didn't take this scene as confirmation that Jin was dead. Obviously Sun has to spin that story to absolutely everyone she encounters, including her father, so I don't really see how we can know whether or not she's telling the truth. Any anger or sadness or blame she expresses could easily be explained by her being separated from him and scared for him, but it doesn't necessarily mean that he's dead.
