Redsox & Jack's Cursed Perception

It seems that the Redsox have run out of luck since Jack's return from the island..



More evidence of the screw slowly turning, as negativity gradually manifests itself on Jack and his perspective. It would seem that the Islands talons dig deeper and deeper into our O6 as time goes by. But is it all about their own perspective..or is this really happening as badly as they think it is. Visitations that only the mentally ill can see, dependancy on drugs etc etc.

The island appears to have a hold over their subconscious..trapping, anchoring their guilt and unfinished business ("work") to the island. Whereas the island can make you feel better..the real world seems oh so nightmarish..

But how much of this displacement is down to perception..and how much of it is 'real', as in really happening. Because what may be real to our Losties, doesn't appear to be 'real' to other people the interact with - Erica, Dr. Hamil, for example.

I'm not speaking parallel Universes here, but rather parallel perceptions..real and Unreal.
