Found this interesting whilst creating some screencaps for this episode - Ben's phone - the one which received the Sonic Fence breach warning - has no dial out capabilities:

Surely this can't be a prop error - probably just an indication that the phone is purely a warning receiver - perhaps it's not only the fence which is configured to send warnings to Ben, but other things too. The button in the Swan not being pressed, for instance - does he know hat Des missed the timer?

Just thought this was interesting. Well fairly interesting, in comparison to the rest of this mega episode!

Well it probably does do more than just warn about the fence... since the phone said "Code 14j" suggesting that it gives other codes... if all it did was warn about the fence... then a beep would probably suffice.

I laughed. I thought there was going to be a guy trying to sell them all life insurance on the other end

But it reminds me of the Batman phone, only black

And it doesn't light up...

So really... it's just a phone.

Yeah that is quite interesting - Ben most likely wouldn't need to use it to phone out anyway, since he can probably communicate with the outside world from his secret room. So when this phone goes off he knows it's important! Makes you wonder just how many different codes there are as well.

Yeah...i think 'Code 14J' implies that there are other codes, all for different things...that's probably the only thing the phone is used for.
