Ok, so we only just discover where the Island is, and then it moves again. Any guess where to anyone?
Though, its gotta be said, I reckon that it explains how a light air craft from Nigerera and a boat from Portsmouth ends up on an Island in the middle of the pacific - because the Island could have been closer to those locations at various points. But anyone want to hazard a guess? I mean, for all know, it could be floating around in space somwhere - OR could that be somwhere in Time and Space??? |

God knows
Does this mean the climate will change? Surely climate would change because of where they move x

Marvin candle was talking about moving the rabbit through time NOT space. If Ben moved the island forward through time, it would appear to disappear to the people on the helicopter, but it might reappear in 6 months time, or 6 years time. Ben travelled forward to October 2005 (in Tunisia), so maybe the island moved forward to this time too.

Hmm, that's a good theory misspiggy. Showing the video of a time-travelling bunny, while interesting and slightly connected to past episodes, didn't hold much relevance to me at that point in time.
![]() However, connected to a theory of moving the island through Time as opposed to space, rather than both time AND space does throw in to centre stage a bit more. However, I wonder if where Ben goes holds any relevance upon the island's new whereabouts?

Do you guys all think that the island has definately 'disappeared'? That it's disappearance isn't some kind of illusion instead??
Just a thought...

Some great ideas everyone.
I wonder how many times the Island has been moved. Perhaps it was moved when Dharma invaded the Island. I thought 'time' and 'space' go hand in hand purely space and planets and what have you are all as ONE 'entity/matter', i.e. everything. Or perhaps I am confusing myself here. I think if the Island is moved in time and not purely by location then finding the Island is going to be impossible unless those whom wish to find it can "time travel". Judging by the splash of sorts the Island made, I would bet against it being an 'illusion' but it is worthwhile thinking about. While being that the Island is within a snowglobe in a sense, I think the climate will remain the same.

Surely if you move through time, you also have to move through space - because if you simply move through time, there is no certainity that the Earth would still be beneath you when you get to the future, hence you have to move through space to keep in contact with the Earth.

I just had a theory... Kinda. Perhaps the Island has moved in time somehow, and the reason it's not there is because of the tectonic plates ![]() I dont know how long it would take for it too move so much that it's in a complete different place... but it's a theory ![]() I think I like MissPiggy's theory the best though ![]()
