Claires Mom sent by the island?

I was just wondering if Claire's mom (as she was in hospital with doctors giving her little hope for survival) was sent by the island or if it could be engineered by the island to get Jack back there by telling him Claire's his sister so he has to go back to get her?

Now could it be smokie/other form of the island or just Claire's mom but it would seem that after this news Jack goes down hill and wants to go back to the island, this could also be by seeing his dad and Christian telling he has unfinished business with the island.

It just seemed funny to me that Claire's mom who was on the edge of death has now flown to America to tell him about his sister, a good way of getting him back to the island me thinks!

I could not even recognise her quite frankly, was it the same woman?

Nice theory, as it would be the first step in Jack's downfall OFF-Island.

It could have been the 'smoke monster', though my bet is it really was Claire's Mother.

Well enough time would have passed for her to recover but yes it is miraculous she came out of her Coma.
