Makes me laugh you mentioning that. I felt really sorry for Locke but it was very bad timing on his part, even if he generally tries to lighten the mood. Now that I think about it, he does have a very unique sense of a humour - which is a compliment.

It really didn't sit comfortably with me the way Jack seemed so calm and, well, accepting of everything that he can order everyone on the plane about. If he had to say 'just say you're in shock they'll buy that as an excuse' then he himself must not be in shock, no? Or maybe not in as much shock as everyone else.
Oh and Locke's Orange Smile is still a brilliant scene to watch Scavenger Kate was just cruel to not even attempt to smile back at him or anything...
