5 weeks old?

Aaron was stated as being 5 weeks old, which is surely incorrect is it not? Unless we blame the time differences on the Island, but one would assume that regardless of this Aaron has aged MONTHS.

The man who questioned Kate surely uncovered something suspicious when he stated Kate was 6 months pregnant when arrested pre-crash.

What do you suppose explains all this?

well on lostpedia it says Aaron was born on November 1st. And they get off the island roughly January 1st so therefore he would be 2 months old.

I wonder why they/she said he is 5 weeks old. I suppose it is so it coincides with their story and 5 weeks or 2 months is not a noticeable difference in age/appearance.

yeah because at 6 months some women don't show, which fits well. so they had to pick a time period in which it would be roughly 2-3 months after and he could still look as old as he is.

Another thing though, surely someone would have seen her getting on the plane with a baby bump, Claire was very pregnant when she was on the plain, i know they are saying he is a different age but surely someone would have noticed her!

I agree Mrs. Sawyer though perhaps with the Marshell dead there is no one to confirm she had a bump. Though you would imagine there would surely be someone who would remember.

But if they are claiming that Kate was 6 months pregnant, because at 6 months most people do not have huge bumps. Claire was nearly 8 months pregnant when she crashed on the island. (she tells Jack this when we first see her after the crash), so I guess the story that they told will involve Kate going into labour a bit early, which is how they made Aaron 5 weeks old.

I would have imagined there to be a noticeable bump but I could be wrong. Well going into labour early would work against their story due to how long they were on the Island.

Well Kate didnt exactly lie she said "A little over 5 weeks" and 2 months is around 8 weeks so it was only a white lie and it's not like it's months off.
I thought that somebody would remember Claire unless they know she's definitely dead. (her body's been seen)
And yeah some woman don't show at all during their pregnancy.

Good point there, though I wonder why they did not simply say his real age. Irrelevant I suppose.

I have a feeling Claire is not dead in the flashforward, instead she is at the Cabin with Christian.
