Yeah this was a decent episode, but you clearly get the feeling that it is, more than anything, a build up to the finale.
We've got the Oceanic 6 flying back and then doing a press conference but we still need to see just how they got on the helicopter, especially since they're scattered all over the place at the moment. And then on the Island we've got Ben and Locke and Hurley vs. Keamy for the prize of the Orchid, Kate and Sayid being escorted somewhere by Richard and co. and all the drama associated with the Freighter. I loved the montage bit at the end as well, and when Lost does those they do them brilliantly. I think the music throughout S4 has been fantastic: only beaten by S1 really. I just loved that montage bit! And the flashforwards to the Oceanic 6 were nicely done as well: nice to see them working at sticking together and seemingly enjoying (well yes to an extent) what real world life has to offer them. Apart from the need to keep up a constant story of deception and repeat a pack of lies that is. On its own I can't really consider it as an episode worthy of repeated re-watches just on its own, but I think when we see the finale this episode will have a lot more meaning and greater re-watch value to it. So yeah, not brilliant but not terrible by a long shot either!

well i watched it twice the first time i thought it wasnt one to be rewatched that often but then it improved on the second viewing
i think Aaron is supposed to be like 4/5 months and i assume that being 5 weeks in the future has something to do with the time distoring stuff but i cannot understand that if he didn't age on the island how no one noticed i mean babies tend to get bigger daily so if he looks 5 weeks at 4/5 months someone must notice love how all the O6 are scattered around the island so their rescue/escape isn't so straight forward which i think is a good thing as its far too early for us to know the full details really not liking the flashforwards we are getting to know too much before it happens know although saying that i like the bit with Hurley returning home to find the coconut and hearing whispers and i liked the bit where Sun showed her dad who's boss. But again got confused on time line as Jack and Kate appeared to be together at Hurleys party but as far as i am aware they didn't get together until after Hurley went back into Santa Rosa which was after he crashed his car that was in the garage - oh yeah great to see the numbers again ![]() is it just me or does anyone else think Claire's mum might suspect that Aaron is her grandson - i got the impression from the O6 interviews that some of the reporters had picked up on some inconsistancys so maybe people are convinced that they are being told the truth and Claire's mum might be one of them - i think she carefully chose her words when she was telling Jack her story too to see how he would react. |

Claire's mum is alive
![]() I'm really starting to like Ben more for some reason, he seems almost heroic. And finally the return of the original 'others'! I don't think they could have done it much better than that, good old Richard, they'll save the day Even though they're partially evil ![]()

thought this episode was great, I'm a sucker for (pre)finales. Loved seeing Hurley reunite with his family
, But have we actually found out where the island is , or is this just another lie ? anyway who else thought captain Desmond was cool?
