I'm suprised nobody's mentioned anything about this yet. It gave me the shivers. I was just wondering what everybody's opinions on it is.

Like you said it gives you the shivers, I completely agree. I just thought it's obviously Smokey, but why is he sad on the picture??

I was thinking more on the lines of why has he drawn that

And why is it on the wall

If I had drawn something like that I think it would of gone in the bin

I think it's the scene where he's almost dragged down a hole in Exodus. He's not sad,
he's terrified:

I particularly like how he predicted his baldness, heh.

Him! Oh yes I like this picture of some sad, looking bald man lying on the floor with some smoke thing coming out the ground, LET'S PUT IT ON THE WALL!

I wonder whether he dreamed it and drew it or just drew it?

I think Alpert knew what the picture was, yet he did not question Locke on it in detail.

Oh yeah I agree Alpert knew. John looked kind of sad, almost scared when he nodded in response to did he draw it. But he did look like that through the entire scene.

Yes very scary! I liked it so much! Best scene is Cabin Fever!
Maybe it's on the wall cos his stepmother doesn't really care for him and is not that much interested in his drawings (he is a child).
Locke saw it in the future but Alpert returned to see if Locke remembers it. Or something else, I'm not sure, this is just my theory...
