Aaron's Destiny
Christian made reference to Aaron not being Destined for the Island, though I cannot recall what exact words he said.
He said something like "not here anyways", though going back to S1 I thought that Aaron/Claire were Destined to board Flight 815. LostPedia does not have the transcript so if anyone can remember what Christian said it would be much appreciated.

I think he said something like (re:Aaron) "He's where he belongs, and that's not here". I assumed he was referring to Aaron not belonging at the cabin, rather than not belonging on the island?

Oh good point, I had not thought of that. Do you suppose it means that Claire is not supposed to raise him?

Perhaps Aaron is "destined" to return to the Island in the future but has to leave for his current safety?

Yeah maybe Jacob/island is putting Aaron with someone stronger than claire to keep him safe

Possibly, though in all fairness she is a pretty good Mother - well most of the time.
