"He wants us to move the Island" - Locke.

Whom is supposed to do this and HOW?

One would assume that Jacob can. Locke surely does not know how and yet Ben claims he is out of power; not the 'Chosen One' any longer.

My belief is that Ben does not know how to move it as he would have done so the minute Naomi parachuted onto the Island.

What do you mean exactly esn? Are you referring to his past encounter with it or that he will go looking for the monster again?

It was suggested by Roco in the ABC thread that Jacob wants Locke not to physically move the island, but to move it in time, i.e. to the past or the future. Which i think could well be right.

I mean, go looking for it again, he does have unique relationship with that thing, and as we saw with Ben, it can be controlled in someway.

Though I do like the idea of the moving it in time thing as well.

You would think setting the Black Smoke on anyone who threatens the Island would be sufficient enough.

It makes you wonder what 'time' the Island is in currently, or perhaps it is timeless?

No no no, I mean that somehow, Locke can communicate to smokey that they need to move the island to protect it then it could be done - we dont really know the full extent of what that thing is capable of really. Its half baked I know, but so are most of my ideas...

But if Keamy and his action men are on the island then wouldnt they be moved with everyone else

That made me laugh. I think atleast if it is moved, then no one else can find it. Then it is a matter of taking care of Keamy and his men.

That would be amazing if it had the capabilities to do this. We no nothing of it's power except it can kill people, rip up trees and take pictures of our pasts. So it is not out of the question whatsoever.
