8. I really liked that episode. It was so much better than last weeks. I wouldnt go as far as a 9 though because I think they're saving something big for the finale.

9/10 - one of my favourite episodes of the season and one of the most valuable episodes of Lost ever.

The narrative was stunning, the mythology and mystery were interwined with plot development and 'useful' information.

There were shocks, deaths, twists, turns, Alpert, Abbadon, Aaron's mom decided to put in an appearance..

An episode with so much depth that it will probably become an even better episode once the season is over.

Hats off to Elizabeth Sarnoff!

Am I watching the same programme ?

This was the best of the three post strike episodes. How can people give last weeks an 8 and this week a 7 ?

Its crazy I tells ya. This WAS an 8. Last weeks fiasco was a weak 3 and yes that is my opinion but if you rated last weeks an 8 then this should be a 9 surley?

I bet people marked it down because Sawyer was not in it. Thats fickle.

The freighter stuff was amazng and a solid 10. However the Locke on-Island stuff was boring, monotonous and felt like I'd seen it many times before. The flashbacks even though there were the revelations of Alpert and Abaddon, felt extremely pointless.

10 for the freighter stuff, 4 for the Island stuff - 7

8. I thought the whole issue with the Freighter was amazing! However, I had to knock it down a few points with the whole Locke flashback and the whole Locke story being a bit boring. Best part of that was when he entered the cabin.

I loved the whole thing with the freighter, though I'm sad about the captain

Locke's bit was fabulous and I loved the Alpert and Abbadon appearences in his flashbacks, Alpert's one of my favourite characters so that raised my view a little bit. The item test was my favourite scene of the episode, with Locke's entrance to the cabin a very close second. All in all, it's a great build-up to the finale.

Packed episode, it had so many things going on and was just great.
