Did anybody else think Matthew Abbadon was going to push Locke down the stairs? I was like noooo dont do it!
Also very interesting how it was him who told Locke to go on a walkabout. I loved Locke's response to that

I loved it

the beginning had me on the edge of my seat was this emily Locke or Ben's mum and tbh i was really hoping it was Ben's mum and that it wasn't Ben she was giving birth too (obviously as we all know about that) but in fact Widemore (they have to be related somehow they have to be) but i still wasn't disappointed when i found that this emily belonged to Locke as it meant he gets yet another flash -and i was worried his flashes would be all dried up now we know how he ended up in the wheelchair how wrong was i

we are finally getting the Locke we all love and know back to his previous pre-S3 form we get a flashBACK always much better than f/forwads imo and not only that the flashback is filled with Lost gems what with Alpert turning up throughout Locke's upbringing and presenting him with the items and seeing Locke's picture of black smoke

is the doctor washing up on the beach before he dies just a nod towards dr who with all the time travel business - my take on which is that time varies everywhere ie say the doctor washes up on the beach on wednesday while its still monday on the boat but as far as radio communication goes its tuesday ? i am sure that has cleared it up for everyone

could have done without christian in the hut really i have never been a fan of his and i think it would have had more effect had we not seen in the hut while Locke was in there

i am going with Claire's not dead (because i don't want her to be) she has just been brain washed or something along those lines

also i have a huge problem with Keamy in the fact that i fancy him is there a known cure for such a problem as i really don't want to

I forgot it was a flashback rather than a flashforward I agree the flashbacks are alot better.

This time difference, I presume, alters depending on the bearing that the object enters/leaves the 'bubble'. For instance there was a relatively short time difference between the Freighter and the Island concerning Daniel's payload. The difference was much longer between the helicopter leaving and landing on the Freighter with Des and Sayid (Jack documenting it had been roughly a day). It would seem that the time difference has altered concerning the doctor's death/arrival.

This time the time difference, in relation to the bearing at which the doctor's body passed through the bubble, caused the Island to be ahead of real time. The doctor was killed and floated in the ocean. Therefore time was ahead on the Island, and we saw it on Island before it happened in the real world. The bearing at which objecs enter the bubble decide the time change - be it slower on Island than real world, or in the case of the doctor ahead of it.

As far as the doctor finding out about his death before it happens, it would have happened anyway. As Des said, you can't screw fate.
Ok...yeah that kind of makes sense, but in a way it is also making me more confused lol

Ok, that does make sense!! Thanks lol. The only thing that makes it more confusing is the fact that Freighter man TELLS the Doctor that he was washed up on the beach before he is even going to die..thats what's so weird about this!! Very strange!

So there was a chance of changing fate its just Ray was not important enough Lostwise to be bothered about LOL! Ray was only used as a tool storywise to show us the time delay.
Ahh, thats what i was just talking about ^^ BUT i believe you are incorrect - if (as you said) Ray had ran away from Keamy and hidden and not been killed by him, he wouldn't have been washed up on the beach and therefore wouldn't have been told about his own death in the first place. LOL. If that makes sense
