Don't be afraid Jack..

This episode confirmed to me that Jack is afraid..he's afraid of the truth..and he's afraid of Hurley.

In this episode his eyes give him away. No, they didn't fall with the usual salty stuff, but when Hugo was talking about "Charlie" and how he speaks to him on ocassion, Jack knew full well that he wasn't "crazy" (and how dare he tell Kate that he is). It strikes me that Jack is scared of becoming like Hurley..he doesn't want to end up either going crazy or having others believe that he is. This is why he's poping pills..to try to control the blanket of guilt and panic that is slowly creeping over him.

Jack is a man whose dependancy on drugs has mirrored his dependacy on being the "hero". Somewhere along the line he knows that he has let his people down..he has let himself down, by making the wrong choice at the wrong times.

If i could give Jack some advise, it would be to not be afraid.

Perhaps he needs some faith in his life to help lead him through the darkness?

Whatever it is, Jack needs something..but perhaps he's got to give something in return first?

MEP. Didn't he cry at the end of the flashforward? Or maybe that's just me thinking.
I see what you mean about Jack's fear Roco, he's been having visions for ages yet when it comes to someone else he'll dismiss them as being insane.
