Hugo's said that he speaks to Charlie when he comes to visit him.

Given the chance, what would you ask Ghost/spirit/manifestation Charlie if you could ask him one question?

I think I'd want to know why he dived in and died when he had Claire and Aaron to look after.

Ooh...isn't it interesting to reflect on Charlie's death now we know that Claire DOESN'T get off the island? So was Desmond's vision wrong? Or did he lie about it for some reason? OOH, maybe in his flash he saw himself being reunited with Penny, but he lied about this to make Charlie go on his suicide mission?

DESMOND, how could you?! Also this potentially means that Charlie died for nothing (or not to save anyone, anyway). Ahh man...*sobs uncontrollably*

That is a very fascinating idea. Desmond has always been 'morally' good but this could be the thing to turn him into somewhat of a bad guy - or more precisely a good guy who did a bad thing.

I would hate for this to be true personally. I remember the last time I watched those episodes, I could not erase the thought from my mind that Desmond was just playing a 'prank' on Charlie the whole time and that poor Charlie believed him. Which actually made me constantly laugh the whole time they were on srceen.

However onto the thread question. I would ask Charlie:

"Why were we on that Island?"

Alternatively, I would ask him - "How are you here?"
