Wow. That is an interesting logo. I had been meaning to make a thread about this - though I think there already is one. Is this from the Station where Wickman/Candle is experimenting on those two rabbits? I am tempted to look this up on LostPedia but it is probably not worth the risk of spoilers.

Does anyobody know what the Station is called?

If you're into the whole Marvin Candle/Mark Wickmund/Edgar Halliwax speculation then it's interesting to see Ben wearing a Halliwax parka.
Halliwax was the name used by the guy in The Orchid orientation video and the logo looks a little like said flower to my eye.

Yup, my guess is that Ben escaped from a moment of peril during the Dharma purge..moments after getting shot - perhaps by Candle/Wickmund/Hallowax.

Although it wouldn't make sense, as if he teleported from the past, how would he know Sayid? Then again, that could make every bit of sense, considering Desmond's time-travelling retained/re-imagined certain 'memories'

As for the symbol itself, i think it's the 8th or 9th different one that we've seen - but don't quote me on that..i haven't checked, it's just got to be around that amount by now.

It seems to have the pattern of a 'vortex'..or rather, a segmented vortex. Perhaps linked to hypnosis or somesort of subconscous state of mind - is this a nod at the state of mind one has to be in, in order to teleport via the 'magic box'?

Probably the symbol reprsents something else, but that's the first thing that came into my mind when examining it.
