None of the options are shining lights when it comes to heroic deeds. But I'm inclined to vote Mike; he is at least trying to make amends for his past mistakes, even if he's been heavily malipulated into doing it and being made to do some horrendus things*

Yes, that's very Ben, isn't it? It's somehow very important to him that he keeps the basic technical meaning of his word ('I'll get you home'), but the implication and spirit of his word don't actually matter to him in the least (ergo it's okay to manipulate Locke into blowing up the sub). It's a bit androidish really - so long as he can say he's *literally* done what he promised, he doesn't care about the practical reality of what he is at all. I'm not actually suggesting Ben's an android though. That's a plot twist too far.

i can never choose the heroes, because none of them are heroes in my eyes. I want to say Michael, but he hasn't really done anything. Ben... he could have ordered the deaths of Rousseau and Karl, so I don't know about him... Locke is just wandering around being confused so... Regarding Ben's talent for keeping within the letter and not keeping within the spirit of his contracts, I have always thought of him more as a conniving lawyer or a devil in human form rather than an android. However, this trait does seem to be born out of an honour-based system, in which breaking his word would seriously compromise Ben's leadership status. This may well be a reflection of society among the original "Hostiles", rather than inherited from DHARMA's values (which did not conspicuously prize openness and honesty).

I'm actually going to chose Locke. He showed a good side to his leadership skills in this episode.

He was the greatest hero of all three. I don't see how Locke got a spot in this poll and Michael is boring with his kid drama.
But where is Rousseau??? She was the hero of the week. Not of the week but of the whole show. She fought, she led, she tought... She has heroine of the LOST.
