Maybe it's just me, but Desmond seems very 'distant' since the Constant.

I'm wondering whether he's suffering any side-effects from his stint in 1996..or whether he still has memory issues? I wouldn't have thought so, but the more I think about it, the more it seems apparant that he's barely said a WORD since that episode. The only evidence we have that he's fully back to 'normal' is that he called Sayid Sayid..but even that might be because he learnt his name minutes before speaking to Penny..

Other than that i think we just have to hope that Des is ok, as he's got a permamently baffled look on his face..

EDIT: Furthermore, it's almost as if Faraday has experienced the opposite, and become more assured since that episode..and we know that Des is Faraday's Constant...

Just throwing it out there..

He also said 'I've been on an island' or something along those lines so he rememebers that but I agree I still think he's having abit of trouble, like Faraday really. When Captain Honest said 'You remember what happened to Minkowski?' Des looked down like he was trying to remember, bless him

I think he remembers everything now, there's just been no need for him to actually have a line, because there's no reason for him to be really annoyed with Michael, and it's brought Sayid forward, seeing as he's been in the background since The Economist.

And I like Desmond's little baffled face. it makes me 'awww'

yeah des has been a bit spacey since the constant, he is probably still adjusting after the mindf**k that is time travelling(or whatever it was) and trying to get his bearings

or

he is just daydreaming about penny all the time now, awwww

I guess we'll have to wait for the next episode before we truely know whether he's ok or not.

I would think that there would be some consequence of finding your constant..either more memory issues or a sense of clarity..

(although he doesn't look enlightened right now).

well considering what he went through was enough to kill Minkowski then its only fair that he needs a little time to recover from it

and Daniel will have def perked up because he found his constant
