I realy don't understand, the jungle's a big place, it looks the same! And when they say 'it's about a day's walk' is that a day with stopping to look at the map/have a drink/run from scary people or is it just a day's walk?

Yes, I thought that too! All those cute little mountains and stuff, but was there a scale, or a compass, or anything useful? How do you find the door? Hmmm, anyone see any runes round the edge....?

I always wondered if it was, actually. It just seemed too obvious to be a real temple. I'm assuming it's some kind of underground facility, so it wouldn't be visible from the air. And presumably it's stockpiled with industrial-sized Dharma jars of ranch dressing, gas masks and other basic necessities of life of the island.

The Temple appears to be some sort of hidden refuge, and yet they're expected to find it with only general directions given?

The mountains... they're drawn so similarly it can't be coincidence.

I'm slightly disappointed - I was expecting it to be related to the four-toed statue.

I think someone speculated a while ago that the Temple could be a Dharma station and I think this confirmation is pretty big - I mean a Dharma station called the 'Temple' were the Others go in times of strife. People usually worship at temples..what will the Others be worshipping there I wonder? Ben comes across as a spiritual man who accepts the notion of God, yet his beliefs to not seem to be harnessed to one religion. If the Temple is indeed a dharma station then I wonder what role science plays in it's premise.

It's a shame they brought the Tempest in and out of our lives in one episode - I do hope that once we visit the Temple that we find out more about it and it's mythological roots in island history
